How our services work

How many certification schemes does CAS offer?+
More than 40 — spanning ISO management-system standards, food-safety and GFSI schemes, social-compliance audits, halal and kosher certification, and product/inspection services.
What's the difference between an EGAC-accredited and a “By CAS” certificate?+
EGAC-accredited certificates (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000, 50001, 22301) carry the EGAC mark — and, for the five IAF-MLA scopes, the IAF mark too. “By CAS” certificates are issued under CAS's own authority for schemes not yet within an accreditation arrangement and never carry the EGAC or IAF marks.
Which schemes are EGAC + IAF accredited?+
ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 45001 (occupational health & safety), ISO 22000 (food safety) and ISO 50001 (energy). ISO 22301 (business continuity) is EGAC-accredited.
What is an “outsourcing service”?+
A scheme CAS does not hold directly — coordinated by CAS and issued by another accredited certification body (for example SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, GLOBALG.A.P. and FSSC 22000). You deal with CAS; the accredited body issues the certificate.
What is an “exclusive partner CB service”?+
A service delivered through a specialist partner certification body with which CAS holds an exclusive arrangement — Halal (via GHCO) and Kosher (via KCJ). The partner is the issuing body; CAS is your single point of contact.
Can CAS certify a scheme that isn't listed?+
Very likely — directly or through our partner network. Contact us with the standard and we'll confirm and quote.

Looking for a scheme not listed here?

We add schemes regularly and can certify most international standards directly or through our partner network.
